    The 2000s Mesa IR Pack and Quad Cortex Amp Pack 1.0 are some of the best, if not the best QC presets I’ve purchased and/or downloaded. Dude… the IRs sound fantastic, and more importantly the tonal variations in the presets that come in that pack are incredible. If you haven’t watched Draven’s comparison of the Uber Ultra KT88 and Driftwood Darkest Nightmare then you need to do so immediately. There are a bunch of other presets other than the Uber and Darkest Nightmare like the Triplerec-revf-red-nightterror (one of my favorites in the pack) that will blow your mind. Words cannot describe what that preset sounds like through my KSR PA50 to my Mesa 412 Standard I loaded with DV77s. This pack actually helped me decide on my most recent acquisition of the Uber Ultra KT88, and while I do NOT regret this decision, I have to admit… Draven’s tones in his presets are better than anything I’ve personally been able to get out of the real amp thus far and it cost me less than 1/100th what the actual amp itself cost me.
